1. Who we are
NM Internet LLC (“NM Internet”, “we”) is an internet service provider registered in New Mexico, at 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste 12707, Albuquerque, NM 87110. You can reach our privacy contact at [email protected] or (505) 510-5400.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: name, service address, billing address, telephone number, email address
- Billing information: payment method details and payment history
- Service information: equipment identifiers, signal quality, connection uptime and total data volume
- Support records: notes from calls, emails and technician visits
3. What we do not do
We do not sell customer information. We do not inspect, log or monetise the contents of your internet traffic, and we do not build advertising profiles from your browsing. We do not share your web activity with data brokers or marketing companies.
4. How we use information
To provide and bill for service, to diagnose faults, to plan network capacity, to contact you about your account or outages, and to meet legal and regulatory obligations.
5. Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI)
Certain information about your service is protected under section 222 of the Communications Act. We use CPNI only to provide the services you buy and as otherwise permitted by law, and we do not disclose it to third parties for marketing without your consent.
6. When we disclose information
Only to service providers who help us operate (such as our billing processor), when you ask us to, or when we are legally compelled by a valid subpoena, court order or lawful process. We review every such request and disclose only what is required.
7. Retention
Account and billing records are kept for seven years to meet tax and regulatory requirements. Technical logs used for fault diagnosis are kept for 90 days.
8. Your choices
You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or opt out of marketing contact at any time by writing to [email protected].
9. Security
We restrict access to customer records to staff who need it, and protect our systems with industry standard controls. No system is perfect; if a breach affects your information we will notify you as required by New Mexico law.
10. Changes
If we change this policy we will post the revised version here and update the date above. Material changes will be notified to customers by email.
