Network Management Policy

The FCC-required disclosure of how we run the network, manage congestion and measure performance.

Last updated: August 2026 · Published under 47 CFR 8.1

1. Blocking

We do not block lawful content, applications, services or non-harmful devices.

2. Throttling

We do not degrade or impair traffic on the basis of content, application, service, or the sender or receiver, except as part of reasonable network management described below.

3. Paid prioritization

We do not favor some traffic over other traffic in exchange for payment, and we do not prioritize our own affiliated content.

4. Congestion management

Fixed wireless towers have finite capacity shared between the customers served from them. If a tower approaches saturation, typically on weekday evenings, our equipment applies fair-queueing so that no single connection can crowd out the others. This is applied to total throughput, not to particular applications or destinations, and it lifts as soon as demand falls. We publish tower capacity planning targets internally and add capacity rather than manage congestion as a long-term answer.

5. Data caps

Our residential and business plans include unlimited data. There is no overage charge and no automatic speed reduction after a usage threshold.

6. Performance characteristics

TechnologyTypical latencyTypical packet lossSuitability
Fixed Wireless20–25 msUnder 1%Streaming, video calls, gaming, remote work
DSL30–40 msUnder 1%Browsing, email, standard-definition streaming

Measurements are taken to our network edge. Speeds and latency beyond our network depend on the wider internet and the servers you are reaching. Weather can temporarily affect fixed wireless throughput.

7. Security measures

We filter traffic at our border that is unambiguously malicious: spoofed source addresses, known command-and-control endpoints and active denial-of-service floods. We do not filter on the basis of content or opinion.

8. Device attachment

You may attach any lawful device that is compatible with our network and does not harm it. Our service hands out addresses by DHCP; no proprietary equipment or software is required.

9. Commercial terms

Pricing, fees and terms for each plan are published in full on our Broadband Facts labels. Redress: complaints may be raised with us at (505) 510-5400 or [email protected]; unresolved complaints may be taken to the FCC or the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission.
